H&M goes for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" look.

It's all about the dark looks for H&M. H&M announced Wednesday that it is launching a 30-piece collection inspired by the anti-heroine in David Fincher’s upcoming film, “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” – a movie adapted from the first novel in Stieg Larsson’s international best-selling crime trilogy. I love everything about this!! Being a fan of the original "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" trilogy, I instantly fell in love with the fictional character Lisbeth Salander’s black, shaved mop-top haircut, who by the way, had an amazing style.

I have to give it to them, this is an incredibly smart business move. After people see this movie (or if you already have seen the original trilogy), everyone will want to go for that edgy, dark look. Seeing as how the movie will likely capture the hearts of young females everywhere, they're going to want to replicate Rooney Mara's look. And lucky for them, they won't have to spend a fortune on it thanks to H&M.

The H&M collection, launching December 14th at 180 stores and online, will include these staples, with the token moto jacket retailing for $199 in either burgundy or black leather.

FYI: The film will be coming out December 21, 2011. Make sure to check it out!!!!!
